FIFA 21 just got patched up to version 1.06 on PC, bringing many bug fixes and improvements to the game, but console gamers are going to have to wait a little bit, as usual.

The latest Title Update 4 is live on PC, and with it, many bugs are fixed. The patch weighs around 3Gb but still doesn't bring the Leeds United's home ground Ellen Road nor the missing 3rd kits for many clubs, such as Arsenal, Manchester United, Barcelona, etc.

Fifa 21 Third Kits Update

Check out some highlights from the extensive patch notes:

Gameplay:

  • Adjusted referee logic in potential yellow card scenarios, with the intent of reducing the likelihood of a yellow card being given.
  • The Ball Roll to Scoop Turn combination now requires a five star Skill Move Rating to perform.
  • Added the “Royal Wave” Celebration to the pool of Celebrations that can occur when requesting a Random Celebration.

Addressed the following issues:

  • Sometimes, the referee would end the game during inappropriate situations during Stoppage Time.
  • Sometimes, players could briefly float in the air following a physically contested header, a pass, or a shot.
  • Following specific dribbling sequences, the CPU AI would stop approaching the ball carrier, on some Difficulty Levels.
  • The Instant Hard Tackle would sometimes result in the player lunging further forward than intended due to an animation inconsistency.
  • In rare instances in certain stadiums, the goalkeeper could get stuck when trying to retrieve the ball.
  • In some out of game scenes, player heads would shift erratically.
  • When an outfield player collided with a goalkeeper, the outfield player’s animations could become visually corrupted before recovering.
  • Following a shot that connected with the goal frame, the frame could shake erratically.
  • In rare instances, a goal was counted as an own goal instead of being attributed to the correct player.
  • Following a foul from a tackle in the box, the foul and penalty kick was sometimes not awarded.
  • In some situations following a header pass, an unnecessary defensive auto-switch could occur.

Fifa 21 Third Kits

On the eve of several major European football leagues kicking off, a trio of Premier League clubs have released third kits in recent days, along with kits from clubs in Italy and Spain.

MANCHESTER UNITED – Third

Premier League powerhouses Manchester United and adidas have teamed up to pay homage to the club’s squads of the early 1990s with their third kit for 2021-22. “From the Black and Blue colourway to the legendary ‘M’ monogram resurrected from 1993, the new drop sets up the club’s new wave of game changers to make history all over again,” an adidas.com article states.

The front of the shirt features a pattern of geometric chevrons that face from black to blue — a colour scheme inspired by the away kit Man Utd wore from 1993 to 1995. The collar and sleeve cuffs are black with blue trim. The adidas shoulder stripes and sponsor logos are yellow, while the adidas logo on the chest is blue and yellow with a black outline.

The shirt will be paired with black shorts and yellow socks with blue and black trim.

LEICESTER CITY – Third

Meanwhile, fellow Premier League club Leicester City and adidas have teamed up for a new third kit that is predominantly grey (“onyx,” according to adidas) with pink accents like the club crest and adidas shoulder stripes. Black panels run down the sides, and blend into the sleeve cuffs, which are trimmed with pink piping. The V-neck collar is also black with pink trim. Sponsor logos appear in white.

BRENTFORD – Third

While this is Brentford’s first season in the Premier League, the club itself has been around since 1889. So to mark the occasion, the club has brought back their popular third jersey from the 2020-21 season, which features the first colours the club wore. The shirt is mainly white, with a claret crew neck collar trimmed with white. The sleeve cuffs feature claret, salmon and blue stripes. The club crest is monochromatic claret.

CAGLIARI – Home

Cagliari’s traditional home look in Italy’s Serie A is a half-red, half-blue shirt, but the club and adidas have put a small twist on that motif for 2021-22. The blue half of the shirt features a hexagonal halftone pattern that fades to red near the top. The same pattern is found on the sleeves of the club’s third kit for 2021-22. The V-neck collar and panels on the sides are solid blue, as are panels on the shoulders, through which run red adidas shoulder stripes. The left sleeve is red with a blue cuff, while the right sleeve is blue with a red cuff.

US SALERNITANA 1919 – Third

Salernitana has rounded out its full set of kits for its first Serie A season since 1998-99 with a third kit manufactured by Italian sportswear company Zeus. It follows the same template as their home and away kits, swapping in black as the main color. The embossed pattern on the home and away kits also appears on the third kit. Stripes on the shoulders and sides are garnet, as is the back of the collar. Zeus logos on the chest and shoulders appear in yellow.

RCD MALLORCA – Third

Spanish La Liga side RCD Mallorca have opted for a blue third kit for 2021-22 to go along with a red home kit and white away kit. The third jersey uses Nike’s Strike II template, which is the same template used for the home kit.
